Description

A simple, flavorful guacamole recipe with a slightly earthy green color.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Add the cilantro, lime juice, red onion, jalapeño, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  3. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the ingredients to your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice if needed.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, use an immersion blender briefly.
  • If you prefer more heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeño.
