Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish featuring spinach and artichoke hearts.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  4. Stir in spinach and artichoke hearts. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer sauce, you can add a tablespoon of cream cheese.
  • Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese or fresh parsley if desired.
