Description

Quick and easy sliders featuring shredded chicken tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, served on soft rolls.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix (dry powder)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 slider rolls (e.g., Hawaiian rolls)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, melted butter, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Slice the slider rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected if possible. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spoon the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls over the chicken mixture.
  6. Brush the tops of the rolls lightly with any remaining butter mixture, if desired.
  7. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tops of the rolls, and bake uncovered for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and slice into individual sliders before serving.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to control the spice level.
  • For extra flavor, brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter mixed with a pinch of Worcestershire sauce before baking.
