- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In another shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk.
- In a third shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
- Dip each drumstick first into the flour mixture, coating it evenly. Shake off excess flour.
- Next, dip the floured drumstick into the egg mixture, letting any excess drip off.
- Finally, coat the drumstick with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the drumsticks.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Turn the drumsticks halfway through baking for even crispiness.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can spray the drumsticks with cooking spray before baking.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
