Description
A quick and easy one-pot pasta dish featuring tender steak, a creamy garlic sauce, and a hint of spice.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced steak and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove steak from the pot and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the pot and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
- Add fettuccine pasta and red pepper flakes to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the cooked steak to the pot. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Stir to combine and heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a milder spice, reduce or omit the red pepper flakes.
- You can substitute other cuts of steak like ribeye or flank steak.
- Ensure you stir the pasta frequently to prevent sticking.
