- 1 pound Italian sausage, cooked and drained
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate or similar oven-safe dish.
- Spoon the cooked Italian sausage over the cream cheese layer.
- Pour the pizza sauce over the sausage layer.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange the sliced black olives on top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving with crackers or breadsticks.
Notes
- Serve with sturdy crackers, tortilla chips, or toasted baguette slices for dipping.
- You can substitute ground beef for the Italian sausage if desired.
