Ingredients

- 1 (15 ounce) can refried beans
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 package (1 ounce) taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup chopped black olives
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup salsa
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the sour cream and taco seasoning until combined.
- On a serving platter, spread the refried beans in an even layer.
- Spread the seasoned sour cream mixture over the beans.
- Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese over the sour cream layer.
- Arrange the chopped black olives and green onions on top to create a Halloween design, such as a spider or a simple face.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
Notes
- You can chill the dip for 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.
- Use cream cheese instead of sour cream for a thicker layer.
- Add a layer of seasoned ground beef between the beans and sour cream for a meat version.
