A simple and flavorful pasta dish featuring chicken in a rich garlic butter sauce.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 ounces pasta of your choice
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- While pasta cooks, season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
- Stir in fresh parsley. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables, such as spinach or broccoli, to the dish.
