- 4 large eggs

- 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, shaved (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the melted and cooled unsweetened chocolate until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust.
- Chill the pie for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Garnish with shaved bittersweet chocolate before serving.

- For a deeper chocolate flavor, use high-quality unsweetened and bittersweet chocolate.
- Ensure the melted chocolate has cooled slightly before adding it to the butter and sugar mixture to prevent it from melting the butter.
