A simple and comforting casserole made with chicken, rice, and creamy soup.
Ingredients

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and water.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the rice is cooked through.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add frozen peas or carrots for extra vegetables.
- For a richer flavor, you can use milk instead of water.
