A simple recipe for making refreshing black lemonade using activated charcoal.
Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon activated charcoal powder
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Heat gently until the sugar dissolves completely. Do not boil.
- Remove the sugar water from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- In a large pitcher, mix the cooled sugar water, lemon juice, and activated charcoal powder. Stir well until the charcoal is fully incorporated and the liquid is uniformly black.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice cubes.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to your preferred sweetness level.
- If you do not have granulated sugar, you can substitute with simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until dissolved).
