Simple Stevia Sweetened Iced Tea

Description

A quick recipe for naturally sweetened iced tea using stevia extract.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Stevia extract to taste (start with 1/8 teaspoon)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Remove the water from the heat and add the tea bags.
  3. Steep the tea for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove and discard the tea bags.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice and stevia extract until the stevia dissolves completely.
  6. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  7. Transfer the tea to a pitcher and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  8. Serve over ice cubes.
