  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups sugar and vanilla extract, beating until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until blended after each addition. Do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter over the crust in the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
  7. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour.
