Description

A simple, warm dip made with ground beef, Rotel tomatoes and chilies, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (10 ounce) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Reduce the heat to low. Add the Rotel tomatoes and green chilies and the cubed cream cheese to the skillet with the beef.
  3. Stir constantly until the cream cheese is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and fully combined.
  5. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a smoother dip, use low-fat cream cheese.
  • You can substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
