Description

A simple recipe for making honey BBQ chicken entirely on one baking sheet.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken thighs, boneless skinless
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to make the glaze.
  3. Place the chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush half of the glaze mixture over the chicken.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove the pan from the oven and brush the remaining glaze over the chicken.
  6. Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken breasts for thighs, adjusting the cooking time as needed.
  • Serve this chicken with roasted vegetables cooked on the same pan for an even easier meal.
