Simple appetizer featuring sausage, cream cheese, and crescent roll dough.

- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, breaking it up as it cooks, until fully browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- In a medium bowl, mix the cooked sausage and softened cream cheese until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place about one tablespoon of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each dough triangle.
- Roll the dough up tightly, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point. Pinch the seam closed.
- Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
Notes
- You can substitute turkey sausage for pork sausage if desired.
- Allow the bites to cool slightly before serving.
