Description

Simple appetizer featuring sausage, cream cheese, and crescent roll dough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, breaking it up as it cooks, until fully browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the cooked sausage and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Place about one tablespoon of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each dough triangle.
  6. Roll the dough up tightly, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point. Pinch the seam closed.
  7. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.

Notes

  • You can substitute turkey sausage for pork sausage if desired.
  • Allow the bites to cool slightly before serving.
