A quick recipe for sweet and savory honey garlic chicken.

- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and ginger.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side depending on thickness.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes, turning the chicken to coat it evenly in the sauce until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
- Serve this chicken over rice or with steamed vegetables.
- For thicker sauce, cook for a few extra minutes until reduced.
