  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken pieces lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and ginger.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side depending on thickness.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
  6. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, turning the chicken to coat it evenly in the sauce until the sauce thickens slightly.
