A quick and easy pasta dish packed with protein and a creamy sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces pasta, cooked according to package directions
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese just before serving.
Notes
- For extra vegetables, add a cup of frozen peas or spinach in the last few minutes of simmering.
- Serve immediately for best results.
