Easy Cheesy Pizza Pockets

Description

Quick and simple pockets filled with pizza flavors, perfect for a fast meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Place one tortilla in the skillet.
  3. Spread half of the pizza sauce over one half of the tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the pepperoni over the sauce.
  5. Fold the empty half of the tortilla over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
  6. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, pressing down gently with a spatula, until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining ingredients for the second pocket.
  8. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute your favorite pizza toppings like mushrooms or cooked sausage.
  • For crispier edges, you can brush the outside of the tortillas lightly with melted butter before cooking.
