Easy recipe for slow-cooked meatballs in a savory sauce.

- 2 lbs ground beef or a mix of beef and pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Roll the mixture into small, uniform meatballs. Place the meatballs in a slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, and water until smooth.
- Pour the soup mixture evenly over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute the canned soups with your favorite jarred sauce, like marinara or barbecue sauce.
- For firmer meatballs, you can brown them lightly in a skillet before adding them to the slow cooker.
