A rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy garlic butter sauce.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine, linguine, or penne work well)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese. Cook, stirring, until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
- Stir in chopped parsley. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables like spinach or broccoli.
