A simple recipe for creamy penne pasta with chicken, bacon, and ranch seasoning.

- 1 pound penne pasta
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet.
- Add chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the ranch seasoning mix until dissolved.
- Add the cubed cream cheese and milk. Stir constantly until the cream cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Add the cooked penne pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat everything evenly.
- Stir in the crumbled bacon.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken to save time.
- Adjust the amount of milk for your desired sauce thickness.
