Description

A recipe for flavorful, addictive ground beef patties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Form each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place the patties in the hot skillet. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium doneness, adjusting time for your preferred doneness.
  5. Remove patties from the skillet and serve immediately on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add 1/4 cup finely minced onion to the meat mixture.
  • You can substitute butter for vegetable oil when cooking.
