Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
