Simple Chicken Caesar Wrap

Description

A quick recipe for a classic chicken Caesar salad wrapped in a tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and black pepper. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  2. Warm the tortillas slightly in a dry skillet or microwave for about 15 seconds per side.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat. Place half of the seasoned chicken mixture down the center.
  4. Top the chicken with half of the chopped romaine lettuce.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward over the filling.
  6. Tightly roll the bottom edge up and over the filling, then continue rolling until you have a secure wrap.
  7. Slice the wrap in half, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for faster preparation.
  • For a crispier wrap, lightly toast the outside of the assembled wrap in a dry pan for one minute per side.
