- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 pounds potatoes, cubed
- 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, toss the cubed potatoes with the melted butter and half of the ranch seasoning mix.
- Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- While potatoes bake, cook the sliced sausage in a skillet over medium heat until heated through. Drain any excess grease.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ranch seasoning mix and the milk until smooth.
- Remove the potatoes from the oven. Add the cooked sausage to the potatoes.
- Pour the ranch milk mixture over the potatoes and sausage. Toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- You can use any type of smoked sausage you prefer, such as kielbasa or andouille.
- For crispier potatoes, increase the initial baking time by 5 minutes.
