  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed tomato soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the condensed tomato soup, water, shredded cheddar cheese, evaporated milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to the skillet.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the macaroni is tender.
  8. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
