Description
Crispy baked chicken tenders coated in a spicy buffalo sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot sauce
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken tender first into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated, then dredge it in the panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Place the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
- While the chicken bakes, whisk together the Frank’s RedHot sauce and melted butter in a small bowl.
- Once the chicken tenders are cooked, place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the tenders and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Notes
- For extra crispy tenders, you can bake them on a wire rack set inside the baking sheet.
- Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your spice preference.
- These tenders can be made ahead and reheated in the oven for a quick meal.
