Simple Milk Bubble Tea

Description

A basic recipe for making classic milk bubble tea at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup black tea, strongly brewed and cooled
  • 1/4 cup cooked tapioca pearls (boba)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (sugar or simple syrup)
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tapioca pearls according to package directions and drain.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the warm tapioca pearls with the sweetener until coated.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Add the sweetened tapioca pearls to the bottom of the glass.
  5. Pour the cooled black tea over the ice and pearls.
  6. Top with milk.
  7. Stir gently before drinking.
