Ingredients

- 3 large cucumbers
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Peel and thinly slice the cucumbers.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the sliced cucumbers to the dressing.
- Toss to coat the cucumbers evenly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- For best flavor, chill the salad for 2 to 4 hours.
- You can substitute apple cider vinegar for white vinegar.
