Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup corn
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese
- Optional toppings: sour cream, avocado, cilantro
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Assemble your bowls: Start with a base of cooked rice.
- Top with the seasoned ground beef, black beans, and corn.
- Add shredded lettuce, salsa, and shredded cheese.
- Add any other desired toppings.
Notes
- For a spicier bowl, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the ground beef mixture.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
- Prepare the rice and beans ahead of time to save on prep time.
