Description
Simple recipe for cooking turkey meatballs in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into small, uniform balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
- Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping the meatballs halfway through cooking, until they are browned and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit or 74 degrees Celsius).
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh parsley to the meat mixture.
- If your meatballs stick, lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray before adding the meatballs.
